FAWNA is the dynamic solo project of Canadian singer-songwriter Jenna Deagle-Potter. As a Montreal artist and master of genre-bending, FAWNA blends R&B, Trip-Hop, and Electronica into an immersive, introspective sound. Rooted in emotive storytelling, her music weaves spellbinding melodies through themes of transformation and self-discovery, inviting listeners into a world that feels deeply personal yet universally felt.
FAWNA began her musical journey in the Halifax indie scene, performing with various bands before discovering her unique voice as a solo artist. In 2014, she relocated to Montreal to pursue her solo career and a degree in Intermedia/Cyberarts, quickly gaining recognition for her captivating performances and innovative collaborations.
Her debut EP, Vol. 1 (2016), introduced her distinctive sound, followed by the CLEAR EP (2019), which further showcased her versatility as a queer artist. After a series of collaborations, she released Vol. 2 (2024), marking her production debut and a bold evolution in her artistry. Most recently, FAWNA partnered with Sidekick Music for her single “Made For This”, highlighting her continued growth and artistic exploration.
On stage, FAWNA’s performances are magnetic and emotionally charged, blending live vocal processing, rich textures, and atmospheric production. Having performed alongside international talent at Ottawa Bluesfest, M.A.D. Festival, and The Commodore Ballroom, this Montreal artist continues to push creative boundaries, delivering performances that draw people in and linger long after the music ends.
